Historical Franschhoek Village Walks

Cape Town

Activity Description

Take a break from the restaurants and wine farms and get a bit of morning exercise by joining our daily morning walks through the village. Franschhoek was established in the late 1600’s and is steeped in history, some of it quite controversial. Many of the houses still occupied today have been around for centuries. Learn about the people who first colonized the valley as well as about those that were originally here and see the town with a new appreciation.
