Activity Description

South Africa’s birdlife is abundant and beautiful. The Western Cape is home to a number of endemic species that are found nowhere else in the world, such as the Cape Sugarbird, Orangebreasted Sunbird and Cape Siskin. Join us for this full day local trip to add many birds to your life list. We will bird from Franschhoek to Betty’s Bay, stopping at many prime birding spots along the route.
Lunch is for your own account. Bring a picnic basket or choose to eat at the Harold Porter Botanical Garden.

WeatherBird watching is best done in good weather conditions however, light rain is acceptable. Should conditions be too harsh, the activity may have to be postponed. This can only be determined on the morning of the activity.

- Lunch and wine tasting can be arranged if so desired at one of the local wine farms. This will be for your own account.
