Service Terms and Conditions

Age limit between 8 and 70 years of age and weight limit between 40 and 120 kg's. Also have to be moderately fit to completed course.

Cancellation Policy
No cancellations are allowed and late arrivals, for a time slot, unfortunately, forfeit the full payment. Our conditions are similar to booking an airplane ticket. A plane does not wait for any passenger that might be late so please be on time.
a) Over 3 months – Full fee returned less than 10% admin fee.
b) Three months to 15 days – We will gladly reschedule if any slots are available.
c) Under 15 days – Final numbers may not change 15 days or less prior to booking date. We do not allow time slots to move if the booking is less than 15 days away and the full fee is due.

Terms and Conditions
1. The Company, its agents, officers, directors, employees, volunteers and representatives are not responsible for any death, illness, injury, loss or damage of any kind sustained by any person (including the Participant) whilst participating in the zip line tour activities (hereinafter referred to as “the activity”) on the property known as Portion 61 of the Farm Roodefontein 440 (hereinafter referred to as “the property”).
2. The Participant acknowledges that there are certain inherent and potential risks involved in participating in the activity, including the possible risk of severe or fatal injury to self or others, which include (but not limited to) the following:
2.1. injury, illness, death, loss or damage resulting from exposure to weather elements; and/or
2.2. physical injuries such as muscular injuries, bruises, scrapes, cuts, sprains, dislocations, broken bones, and head, facial or dental injuries which may result from accidental injury; illness resulting from parasites or encounters with animals.
3. The Participant accepts and assumes all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, permanent disability, property damage or loss resulting therefrom (and as detailed above, but not limited thereto).
4. The Participant agrees as follows:
4.1. to waive any and all claims that he or she may have against the Company, its members, officers, directors, employees, agents and independent contractors as a result of the Participant’s participation of the activity, and all related activities;
4.2. to releases the Company from any and all liability from any loss, damage, injury or expense that the Participant may suffer, or that his or her next of kin may suffer as a result of his or her participation in the activity and all related activities due to any cause whatsoever;
4.3. to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any and all liability for any damage including consequential damages to the property of the Company, or personal injury to, any third party, resulting from the Participant’s participation in the activity and all related activities;
4.4. to follow all reasonable instructions provided by the Company, its employees, agents, directors and independent contractors, for the duration of the activity.
5. The Participant warrants that he/she is in good physical and medical condition and have no medical and/or physical limitations, for example (but not limited thereto) allergies, fear of heights, pregnancy, heart conditions, recent surgeries etc.
6. In entering into this agreement the Participant is not relying upon any oral or written representations or statements made by the Company or its agents with respect to the safety of the activity other than what is set forth in this agreement.
7. This agreement shall be effective and binding upon the Participant’s heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns and representatives, in the event of his or her death or incapacity
8. This agreement and any rights, duties and obligations as between the parties to this agreement shall be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of the South Africa and no other jurisdiction.
9. If any term, condition, provision or performance, or any part of a term, condition, provision or performance of this agreement is determined to be invalid, illegal, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, that term, condition, provision or performance or the relevant part thereof shall be severed from the remaining terms, conditions, provisions and performance of this agreement, or amended to make it valid, legal, lawful and enforceable, in such a manner as to leave the amended agreement substantially the same in essence, and this agreement so amended shall remain in force and effect.
10. In the event that the Participant is a minor (under the age of 18) his or her parent/legal guardian shall represent such minor Participant in entering into this agreement. Upon such acceptance, the terms and conditions hereof shall be enforceable and binding on the minor Participant and his or her parent/legal guardian.

Zipline in Plett is a business in the activity industry.
Customer Privacy policy
Zipline in Plett shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Zipline in Plett via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Zipline in Plett separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
Zipline in Plett takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Zipline in Plett chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Variation
Zipline in Plett may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
